Foundation's Funding Focus for 2025
For 2025, the Foundation will be funding projects or programs in our core interests of: Animal Welfare, Education, Literacy, the Environment, and Cultural, Historic and Beautification improvement.
If you are a Kern County 501(c)3 organization with a program or project that fits the above criteria, please email us at tcowenhoven@harrell-holdings.com with a brief description of your funding needs. Please also include an estimated idea of how much money you will be requesting. If we feel your project or program is something the Foundation is able to fund, we will invite you to apply.

How to Apply for a Grant from the Foundation
1) Email us at tcowenhoven@harrell-holdings.com with a brief description of the project or program you would like funding for, along with an estimate of how much money you will be requesting.
2) If your proposal sounds like a good fit for the Foundation, we will email the application to you, along with the date that the application is due. The application will be attached to the email.
3) Answer the Application questions and email them, and the requested forms, back to the Foundation at tcowenhoven@harrell-holdings.com.
4) We will review your completed application and reply with our decision as soon as possible.
